This article from Rand Health, a non-profit "policy" thinktank with plenty of corporate board members sounds alot like corporate CEO's flexing their collective desire for automation of the medical record, just like the "Leapfrog Group." Just look at the questionaire used to assess the care delivered. I always answered 'no' to test questions that include the word 'ALL' or 'ALWAYS', since rarely does a disease exist in isolation to other pathologies a patient might have. Looking at these "quality measures:" there are lots of 'ALL' and 'ALWAYS' measures.... wonder if this is why we scored so poorly as doctors... or could it be to make us look bad relative to computers?
